CRAFTED is a program of Itasca Life Options that works to empower and provide opportunities to artists of all abilities. Each piece of artwork was made by a person with a developmental or physical disability.  Stop in and see their latest creations!

 

  • VILLAGE BOOKSTORE & GIFTS

Local author Margo Hansen will be in store to sign all nine of her books from 4-6pm. She writes romances in the Christian Fiction genre and her stories have lots of adventure!

Benders Shoes is hosting Anna Lynn who is a high school student from Grand Rapids who taught herself to play the ukulele. She loves to learn new songs and perform for others!

 

  1. MACROSTIE ART CENTER

Presenting two new exhibits for March: the Agroccult series by Andy Messerschmidt and a ceramic installation by Mary Beth Magyar. With food by Nana Chelle’s Café, wine and other refreshments, plus live music by Ariana Aitken on piano from 4 – 6 pm and artist talks at 6.

Stop in to the lower level of Historic Central School from 4 – 6 pm to check out the studio of local artists Aaron Squadroni and Lea Friesen.

Visit with the Artists in Residence on the 3rd floor and see their latest works. Resident artists include Mary Myers Corwin, David Dobbs, Whitney Leming-Salisbury, Aaron Olson-Reiners, and Leah Yellowbird.

The artist of the month is Dick Thouin with watercolors on display plus music by Jed LaPlant (and friends!) from 4 – 6 pm.
