MACROSTIE ART CENTER
MacRostie Art Center is pleased to present its April 2021 exhibitions. The MacRostie Gallery is showcasing the drawings and paintings by Corey Olson in “Extraordinary Angles.” The Minnesota Gallery is hosting “Flights of Fantasy: Birds, Nature, and Art at Play” with sculptures by Susan Feigenbaum. The public is invited to experience the new exhibitions opening April 5 through the MAC’s website or in person at MacRostie Art Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
ITASCA ORCHESTRA AND STRINGS PROGRAM
IOSP presents a virtual concert and fundraiser with violinist Evgeny Zvonnikov and cellist Magdalena Sas. Donations are encouraged, and all received funds will support creation of the TCCC/IOSP Music Camp in Grand Rapids, MN. The event is brought to you through a partnership with the The Third Coast Chamber Collective and MacRostie Art Center and is available to view on the IOSP YouTube channel.
Visit the Reif Center’s website for the latest options in On-Demand viewing — their current offerings include everything from hip hop to classical music to dance. More live performances are coming in April and May — seating is limited so contact the Reif Box office or visit their website to reserve your ticket. Performances will also be available to view on demand online for a limited time.
Thanks for supporting local art and local artists. We hope to see you downtown on Friday, May 7 for the First Friday Art Walk — a part of the Downtown Business Association’s Spring Celebration.
