1. OAK HILL ASSISTED LIVING
“Seasons at Oak Hill,” is an exhibit celebrating the creativity, memories, and personal stories of past and present residents. See painting, drawing, quilting, and mixed media pieces in a collection that showcases artistic expression and the enduring spirit of creativity at every season and stage of life.
2. BENDER’S
Featuring artist Debbie Baker who was born and raised in Hibbing and has held a lifelong passion for art. She painted her first barn quilt approximately 30 years ago and has been teaching monthly classes for the past six years.
3. MACROSTIE ART CENTER
Presenting the opening of “Cut Away: Reduction Relief Prints” by Eric Johnson in the MacRostie Gallery. Food, wine, and refreshments from 4 – 7 pm and an artist talk at 6pm.

4. GIINAWIND CREATIVE SPACE
Welcoming Pono Asuncion for an artist talk and interactive community activity celebrating their exhibit of drawings and world-building entitled, “Line-Medicine, Line-Prayer”.
5. STAINED GLASS WITH CLASS
Hosting a drop-in fused glass class making plant stakes for the garden or potted plants. $40 fee. Walk in or call ahead to register.
6. OLD CENTRAL SCHOOL GROUNDS
Join Lady Sippers and She Becomes Coaching on the lawn of the Old Central School for an evening of pure, unadulterated Main Character Energy with a sunset silent disco featuring three curated 80s soundtracks. 50 pairs of headphones are available to tune in, available on first come, first served basis. Free and open to all!

7. OLD CENTRAL SCHOOL
- The Glaze Garden Hosting Jessa Roy – Author for a book signing of her new book “Gallery on Occidental”.
- Growing Harmony Within Offering free make-and-take inspirational cards in Room 109.
- Fire in the Village Stop by Room 203 to catch up about upcoming events or make and take a fabric printed patch.
- Free Range Food Co-op is featuring Diana Magner of Donna’s Daughter, who loves to repurpose vintage objects into new items. She also does mandala dot painting on mugs, gift jars, earrings and magnets.
- Artists in Residence Come up to the 3rd Floor to bid farewell to the outgoing Artists in Residence and join them for an artist talk at 5pm as they share about their year in the Old Central School studio residency.

8. NORTHERN CRUISERS & ITASCA VINTAGE CAR CLUBS
Hosting a Show-n-Shine event in the Old Kremer’s Lot across from Central School in Downtown Grand Rapids. This event is open too any collector car, truck, or motorcycle regardless of age and is open to the public. Bobcat’s Lunchbox food truck will be on site.
9. WINGS ‘N WILLOWS ART GALLERY & CUSTOM FRAMING
Featuring local visual artist David Browne, inspired primarily by the natural local environment- lake country, forests, and farms. He will be showing some of his small unique landscape paintings and tree ‘portraits’ and demonstrating some of the techniques he uses to create his work.
10. RAPIDS BREWING
Live jazz with Sam Miltich and friends from 6 – 9 pm with special guest Tim Wick on the keys.
